Remote AI training jobs you can start without experience
"AI training job" covers a lot of different work. Some of it is rating chatbot answers or labelling images at a desk. The work on GoKuna is the other half: recording the real-world data models learn from, at home, on the phone you already own.
The two kinds of AI training work
A machine learning model needs two things before it is useful: examples of the world, and descriptions of what those examples show. Collection work produces the examples, such as video, audio and photos. Annotation work describes them, for example by drawing boxes or writing captions.
GoKuna runs collection work. You record something specific that a team needs, to a written brief, and a reviewer checks it against that brief. That makes the work easy to judge in advance: you can read exactly what is wanted before you commit any time.
What you can do from home
Most tasks fit around a normal day at home. Object videos: $5.00 per accepted clip. Audio: $6.00 per accepted set. Document photos: $8.00 per accepted sample. First-person video: $10.00 per accepted clip. Long-form video: $20.00 per accepted hour. In-person sessions: $50.00 per session.
Some of these kinds of work are open worldwide, some start in one region, and in-person sessions happen in one city. Each brief says where it applies.
How the pay works
This is task work, not an hourly job or employment. Each task shows its reward before you reserve it, and you earn that reward when your submission is accepted in review. There is no minimum payout and GoKuna does not charge contributors a fee.
Payouts go through Stripe to your own bank account. Once a payment is sent it usually arrives within a few business days. You are responsible for any tax you owe on what you earn; GoKuna does not withhold tax. Earnings are not guaranteed, because the work available depends on the collections that are open.
What you need
You need to be 18 or older, have a phone that records video and sound, and have an email address to sign in with. Payouts work in over 100 countries, including the US, Canada, the UK, most of Europe, Mexico, India, the Philippines, Japan, Australia, Nigeria and Kenya. If your country is not supported, payout setup tells you, and practice tasks stay open to you.
You do not need a degree, a portfolio, an interview or prior experience with AI. What matters is reading the brief carefully and recording exactly what it asks for.
How to tell a remote AI training job is worth your time
Before you give any AI training platform your time, check a few things. Is the pay for a task stated before you do the work, not after? Is joining free? Does payment go to a bank account in your own name, through a payment provider that verifies you? When work is rejected, do you get a reason? Is it clear who can use what you produce, and for what?
On GoKuna the answer to each is yes. The reward is shown before you reserve and locked when you do. There is no fee to join or to be paid. Payouts go through Stripe to your verified bank account. Every rejection comes with its reason. And the payment terms say plainly that you keep ownership and grant a licence for training and evaluating machine learning models.
A realistic first week
Sign in, confirm your age and country, and look at what is open. Start with a short task you can finish in minutes, so you learn how review reads a brief. Set up payouts from Earnings once, so the first accepted clip can be paid straight away.
Your reservations, review decisions and earnings all sit in one place, across four tabs: Tasks, My work, Earnings and Profile. If something looks wrong, send a support request from Profile and you get a reference to follow up with.
Is AI training work from home legitimate?
It can be. Check that the reward is stated before you do the work, that you never pay to join, and that payment goes to your own verified bank account. GoKuna does all three.
Is this a full-time job?
No. It is individual paid tasks that you pick when they suit you. Availability and earnings are not guaranteed.
Do I need experience with AI?
No. Each task tells you exactly what to capture. Careful reading matters more than technical knowledge.
Do I need a degree?
No. Signing up asks for your email, your country, confirmation that you are 18 or older and agreement to only submit media you are authorized to share. Nothing else.
Can I do it on a computer?
Tasks are recorded on a phone. GoKuna runs in your phone's browser, so there is nothing to install.
