Plain terms for what you earn and how it reaches you.
What you earn
Each task shows its reward before you start. The amount shown when you reserve a task is the amount you earn for it, even if the task changes later.
Review
Every clip is reviewed before it earns. Clips that follow the task instructions are accepted. If a clip is rejected you will see the reason, and you can record a new one while the task is open.
Getting paid
Payments are handled by Stripe. You set up payouts once, and Stripe verifies your identity and bank details directly. We never see your bank details.
When money arrives
Accepted clips are paid in US dollars once they add up to $20 and your payout setup is complete. We send all of it within 7 business days of reaching $20, and your bank typically receives it within a few business days after that. A balance under $20 is sent anyway 90 days after your last accepted clip, or when you delete your account. There is no fee to be paid.
Your recordings
How your recordings are used
You keep ownership of what you record. When a recording is accepted, you grant Techguyver Labs, LLC (GoKuna) and the customers who buy the data a non-exclusive licence to use, copy, modify and annotate it, and to train and evaluate AI and machine learning models with it. The licence is perpetual and irrevocable for recordings already delivered to a customer. Full terms are at gokuna.com/terms.
Keeping and deleting
You can delete your account at any time, which erases your profile and your raw files from GoKuna storage. You can also withdraw a recording that has not been delivered to a customer by emailing roy@techguyverlabs.org. Recordings already delivered stay licensed to that customer.
Tax
You are responsible for any tax you owe on what you earn. We do not withhold tax from payments.
